Are you livery? Are you shivery? Sad and sorry and blue?
Say, young fellows then, Doctor Cupid has got the cure for you
Loves the tonic, if you feel chronic And think you're ready to die
Loves the remedy, nature's remedy Chemist's can't supply

Never mind what the doctors say
Cuddle your girl three times a day
Oh, oh, oh, you can feel it doing you good!
Tho' you're a kind of nervous wreck
Soon as your arms go round her neck
Oh, oh, oh, you can feel it doing you good!
Never mind Sanatogen or Veno's.
What's the finest remedy? Why she knows!
Soon as your lips to hers you press
You will begin to convalesce
Oh, oh, oh, you can feel it doing you good!

Mr Edison says love's medicine beats all potions and pills
Why keep drugging? A real good hugging beats all your syrup of squills.
Love rejuvenates and exhilarates, Get that remedy soon.
When you take her, you needn't shake her, but don't forget the spoon!

Never mind what the doctors say
Cuddle your girl three times a day
Oh, oh, oh, you can feel it doing you good!
Tho' you're a kind of nervous wreck
Soon as your arms go round her neck
Oh, oh, oh, you can feel it doing you good!
Never mind Sanatogen or Veno's.
What's the finest remedy? Why she knows!
Though you're as bad as bad can be

Soon as you park her on your knee
Oh, oh, oh, you can feel it doing you good!
