A sentimental sequel to Leo Dryden’s most famous song The Miner’s Dream of Home<\/a><\/em>. The words were written by John P Harrington<\/a>, with music composed by Dryden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is included in the Roud song index because it was submitted as part of the West Sussex Gazette’s Sussex Songs competition<\/em> in 1905. It was also collected from the singing of Walter Pardon by Jim Carole and Pat MacKenzie.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
