A song from the 1920s  associated with the singer\u00a0Talbot O\u2019Farrell<\/a>, who performed many similar sentimental Irish songs. It also featured in the repertoire of Edgar Thomas  and a number of other artists. Thomas’s recording is available below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 1964 it was collected from the singing of a Canadian singer, Mrs Dwyer, by Fred Earle and John Widdowson.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
